Life Through my Eyes, by Zeus
I wondered what was happening this particular morning
when a this couple came to my home little did I know
they were going to take me away from my friends and
family I had spent the first three months of my life
with.
They were taking me to my new home in Mt Pleasant.
Little did I know this was where I was going to live.
I have been living very happily and contented in this
house and not being spoilt much - who am I kidding.
When I was still a puppy I went to pre puppy school
which I really enjoyed as I met a lot of other puppies.
The Instructors used to tell me to stop barking by the
way which I haven't as I still bark if I want to play
or tell the other dogs off. I attend Ballarat Dog Obedience
Club most weeks which I still enjoy as I love seeing
the people and all the other dogs which I come to know
quite a few through trialling and going through the
different classes.
My
days are spent most of the time home with Dad as Mum
comes and goes I look forward to when mum is home as
I get to spend time with Mum. Dad & I go for walks
most days and see Gerry who remembers my name but not
dad's. Strange how people can remember a dogs name but
not the owner.
I can remember the face of despair on Mum when Prince
another friend jumped on me and hurt my leg. I was well
and truly pampered as I wasn't allowed to walk for 10
days before my Vet Richard did a knee reconstruction
the pampering continued for another couple of months
my knee is just fine now. Mum and Dad were very proud
of me when they accidentally left the door open I didn't
venture out maybe I was trying to earn brownie points
or just to scared as I usually go out on the lead or
carried out.
My Likes FOOD being with other people
and their pets Specially Annette as she takes me for
rides in her car and I spend time with her family of
Cavie's. Cuddling up next to dad while he watches TV
or has cat nap. But most important part is being with
Mum & Dad who love and spoil me.
My Dislikes Being Groomed and having
a bath but I put up with cause I love mum and she does
it because she loves me imagine not having a bath or
being groomed Yuck. Being left behind when Dad &
Mum go out or away.
My last comment is I feel that I am so lucky that I
have such a good home.
Well I had better hit the sack.
