MAGGIE
CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL

Jessica Baker-Goldsmith got Maggie in 1998.

Maggie is a beautiful, gentle little dog who loves affection; though at times she can be very shy, especially of other dogs.

She was a feisty puppy, as all young dogs are. When she was a few months old, Maggie got into a fight with one of Jessica's older dogs. Maggie lost her eye, but she is still as cute as ever. Jessica says the fight possibly gave Maggie her timidity.

Maggie is still very active, though - her favourite pastime is chasing magpies.

When Jessica and Maggie joined the club one year ago, Jessica hoped to reach the top class with Maggie. Both of them have done exceptionally well and are now in class four. Jessica feels that she and Maggie won't be able to make it to the highest class. "She doesn't do anything she doesn't want to do," Jessica says.

However, I'm sure that with time Jessica and Maggie will make it to the top class.

We wish them all the best.
