KLOSTER
ENGLISH SPRINGER SPANIEL

A note from Kloster – Moonbeam, English Springer Spaniel, Age 3

Sit! .. Sit! .. Sit! .. Sit! , Oh, not that again.

“Forward”, Heel!, Heel!, Heel!,

“Halt!”, Sit! Sit!, Stay, Stay, Stay!

“We are really training the owner in Class One – not the dog!”

After 14 months of Sundays, I have my red ribbon for Class One, - me, the brilliant enthusiastic, bred for show, sniffer-dog (and the old Sos).

“Talk to your dog!”

Of course I know what to do, I know exactly what you are thinking and can do anything, anytime, almost perfectly at home, see …… but class time is much more fun for me ( and scary ).

“Use your three voices!” ……… Oh dear, here we go again.

If the old Sos could just get up early enough, we could join the Tracking class, that would be much better, for that’s my line. I can easily find a wallaby at 100 yards, a fox at 200 and rabbits? – That’s just a piece of cake.

Cheerio,
from Kloster – Moonbeam. (As told to the old Sos.)

Congratulations Richard on your persistence and perseverance with Kloster, despite the distance you travelled regularly with Kloster and despite many difficulties. You made it and now – wow, what a team.
Your Class One Instructor, Liz.
