VACCINATION POLICY

ALL DOGS IN TRAINING MUST HAVE IMMUNITY AGAINST PARVOVIRUS, DISTEMPER AND HEPATITIS.

(a) This rule is deemed to be complied with if the dog satisfies any of the following three requirements, AND the appropriate evidence is submitted to support the requirement.

1	Has a current C3 (or higher) vaccination certificate.	A current vaccination certificate for the dog must be sighted when joining the club and when renewing club membership
2	Is over the age of 13 years and has had regular vaccinations in the previous five years.	Vaccination records indicate the dog has been vaccinated for at least the last five years. If necessary, evidence of the dog’s age may be required. or A letter from a vet stating both the dog’s age and that it has had regular vaccinations for the last five years
3	Has been titre tested.	A letter from a vet stating a) The dog has been titre tested, AND b) The dog is currently immune to parvovirus, distemper, and hepatitis AND c) The term of immunity

 

(b) The Membership Officer (or nominated representative) must sight the appropriate documents

(c) Dogs are not permitted on the grounds during training unless the appropriate evidence is submitted.

Vaccination (i.e. immunity) is for the safety of your dog as well as other dogs
