The Responsible Dog Ownership Programme
(RDO) is a certificate course of basic obedience (sit, heel,
down, stand, recall and stay exercises) conducted by the
Ballaarat Dog Obedience Club Inc.
The course includes lectures from a local
vet, the Ballarat City Council Animal Bylaws Officer, a
session on grooming your dog and a supervised walk with
your dog around a shopping centre.
Everyone who passes the full 8 week course
will receive a graduation certificate.
Dogs entering the class must be registered
with a municipal Council and vaccinated.
Current Council registration and vaccination certificate
MUST be presented at the time of enrolment.
Participants are not required to join the
club. However, we do ask that you make a commitment
to attend for the whole 8 weeks of the course

7.00 pm - 8.00 pm (Note: 3 sessions
will run an extra half hour)
