Membership Categories
*Juniors: 0ver 9 years and less than 18 years (for individual
juniors, not included in a family or dual membership)
Single: one adult
Dual: any two persons living at the same address
Family: two adults and any number of children all living
at the same address
All persons who handle a dog in class must
be a club member.
note: there is no extra charge if a member wishes to train more
than one dog. However, the dog must be registered with the club
and a current vaccination certificate sighted.
New members fees include:
- pro-rata annual subscription
- a once only Joining Fee
- annual VCA Service levy (this is discounted for VCA members
who produce evidence of their VCA membership ie, CURRENT
membership card)
Subscriptions expire on June 30th of each year,
except that for new members joining in the April - June quarter,
the subscription expires on June 30th of the following year.
Discounts
Pensioners: $5.00 discount on membership - We MUSTview
a current Australian Government Pension Card
Full time Students over 18 years: $5.00 - We MUSTview
your current Student Card
Joining Fee: No joining fee ($15.00) is payable if
your dog is a rescue dog purchased from a recognised Animal
Rescue organisation within the last six months. However, we
MUST see evidence:
- of purchase,
- of current C3 vaccination, and
- evidence that the dog has been desexed.
Note: Training is on each Sunday from February
to early December, except for long weekends and other designated
days (which will be announced on the club noticeboard, in the
club newsletter &/or on this site). Training
Times
On the first day, new members undertake
an orientation session
before joining the appropriate obedience class.
RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP
Annual subscription renewals are due
by 30th June of each year. Refer to the club newsletter
as to available renewal times. Members are required to present
a current vaccination certificate for their dog at the time
of renewal.
Membership renewal fee includes:
- annual subscription
- annual VCA Service levy (this is discounted for VCA members
who produce evidence of their VCA membership ie, current
membership card)
Pensioner and student (full time, over 18years)
concessions available. Current pension card or student card
must be presented to obtain discount.
Membership subscriptions are non-refundable
(as per Club rules).
TRAINING FEES
Training fees are $2.00 per session.
Puppy preschool: $70 (includes club membership
until the end of the relevant financial year - no weekly training
fees for the 4 week duration of the puppy preschool course)
