This
first guideline is the most important - support the
demonstration team on Saturday 13th November - tentative
times 11am , 1pm & 3pm. (and/or IF THE NEED ARISES BE
IN THE DEMO TEAM)
We will need a minimum of 8 - 10 members participating
to meet our obligations to the Show Grounds Committee as agreed
for the use of their facilities
The
Trialers class is for members with basic obedience
& a set of commands to go with the actions, which the
dog understands with the intention that members are training
to compete at Obedience Trials.
Obedience
training is a SPORT and all sports have rules- all members
attending theses sessions MUST download and HAVE 'READ the
Rule Book.

for rules.
All
Dogs attending MUST BE TOILET TRAINED FOR INDOORS
Attending
members to assemble at Ballarat Show Grounds, Howitt St. entrance
6.25pm. We will then all walk in together.
NO MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED TO PARK IN THE SHOWGROUNDS.
All members to Park in Howitt St.
Cost
$2.00 per person - **committee/instructors no charge as
per BDOC constitution.
ONE
dog / HANDLER- no multiple dogs. (If a handler has multiple
dogs they are to alternate weeks)
Handlers
are to ensure their dog has toileted before coming to the
grounds.
Bring
a torch and when walking to and back from the Main pavilion
- STAY on the road.
Bring
a rug / mat along for the dog to sit / drop on during the
stays and when not working.
Timeframe
for training: the months of June, July & August
(No training on 21st and 28th June)
Please note: at these sessions no jumping
exercise will take place inside on the concrete floor
We have duty of care to our dogs
