for puppies aged from 14 weeks to 6 months
The following
exercises are covered:
1. HEELING ON A LOOSE LEAD
2. LEAD HELD IN BOTH HANDS
3. ALL TURNS [ref page 7/8]
4. CHANGE OF POSITION
5. SIT [from heel position,
hands on]
6. STAND [ from heel position,
hands on]
7. DROP [from heel position,
hands on]
8. SIT STAY [to end of dogs
nose]
9. SIT FOR EXAMINATION [hands
on]
10. STAND FOR EXAMINATION
[hands on]
11. REVERSE
12. TOY RETRIEVE
and lots of FUN and socialisation
Handlers are to train their
pups with food or a toy(non-squeaky) and plenty
of praise .
WHEN A PUPPY GRADUATES FROM PUPPY CLASS
A RIBBON WILL BE AWARDED. PUPPIES AND HANDLERS WILL
BE ASSESSED AND WILL GRADUATE INTO THE APPROPRIATE MAINSTREAM
CLASS UNLESS THE HANDLER IS UNDER 12 IN WHICH CASE THEY
WILL GO INTO CHILDRENS CLASS
